Meet our Executive Board
Meet the dedicated students who are responsible for running the organization and delivering the best experience possible to its members. The Executive Board is the body of KULMUN tasked with the daily operations of the organization. All members have the opportunity to be elected to the Executive Board.

President
Eliza Khassayeva
Email: eliza.khassayeva@kulmun.be
I am Eliza, a 22-year-old law graduate who is currently pursuing an Advanced Master’s degree at KU Leuven.
Growing up trilingual and between different cultures made international environments feel natural to me, so KULMUN quickly became a place where I felt at home. After serving for a year on the Executive Board as Marketing Manager, I spent the fall semester on exchange in Scotland.
When I returned, my passion for KULMUN brought me back once again – this time as President. The association has brought be so much joy over the years, and I am honored to now help it continue to thrive.
As President, I am committed to giving my absolute best and making the upcoming year one to remember.

Vice President
Kai Regelean
Email: kai.regelean@kulmun.be
I'm Kai, a 3rd year Philosophy Bachelor's student at KU Leuven, originally from St. Louis, Missouri in the US.
I joined KULMUN in 2024 out of a long standing interest in international politics, but I stayed because of the people. What started as a curiosity quickly became a passion because of the community in KULMUN.
That's exactly why I wanted to join the executive board as Vice-President: I want to help build the kind of environment that has become so important to me over the past years. One where people walk away with real connections, not just political talks.
Outside of MUN, I'm preparing to pursue law after my bachelor's. When I'm not buried in papers studying, you'll find me reading, cooking, or in the gym.
I'm excited for what this year brings!

Secretary & Socials
Hanne Libeer
Email: hanne.libeer@kulmun.be
Hey, I’m Hanne and I am the Secretary of KULMUN this year. My responsibilities cover everything related to our members. From welcoming new members to keeping track of attendance. I am also in charge of organising our socials, including the weekend, after-training socials, BBQ, Christmas party, and many more!
I am currently studying Law and aspire to become a lawyer. Through KULMUN, I am building an international network and further developing my debating skills and political knowledge. Outside of KULMUN and my studies, I enjoy playing tennis, skiing and traveling. I also love cooking and keeping up with the latest fashion trends.
As a naturally bubbly and social person, I really enjoy this role and the opportunity to contribute to the KULMUN community. Creating a welcoming environment, bringing people together, and making sure everyone feels included are things I genuinely value. Even though this is only my second year in KULMUN, I am excited to meet even more members and help make this a memorable year for everyone!
Marketing Manager
Malika Khassayeva
Email: malika.khassayeva@kulmun.be
Hi everyone! My name is Malika, and I'm KULMUN's Marketing Manager. Together with David, I make up the outreach team. I manage our social media pages and website, and work to share what makes this community so special with the wider world.
I'm a third-year law student with a keen interest in international politics. Combined with my Chechen-Ukrainian background, KULMUN's international community felt like a natural fit from the start. Outside of academics, you'll find me studying languages, reading or practicing calisthenics.
Joining KULMUN in 2025 has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. It has deepened my understanding of global affairs, sharpened my public speaking, and, perhaps most importantly, introduced me to some of the best people I've ever met.
This year, my mission is to bring more of what makes KULMUN great to the outside world!

Partnerships Manager
David Militosyan
Email: david.militosyan@kulmun.be
My name is David, and I'm a third-year law student at KU Leuven. Armenian by heritage, I've always been drawn to (international) politics and to the spaces where you actually get to engage with it, as growing up surrounded by people from all kinds of backgrounds made me curious about the politics behind it all.
Joining KULMUN in 2025 gave me exactly that: a community that sharpened how I think, introduced me to friends I genuinely care about, and deepened my commitment to becoming the best version of myself.
As this year's Partnerships Manager, I'm excited to focus on strengthening how KULMUN presents itself to partners and the broader MUN community, both nationally and internationally, helping secure the organization's position on the scene and long-term growth.
Treasurer
Elise Bauden
Email: elise.bauden@kulmun.be
I'm Elise, and I'm currently finishing my master's degree in Materials Engineering. I'm very happy to serve as treasurer for the 2026–2027 mandate.
I've been involved with KULMUN for three years, previously as Conference Manager on the 2025-2026 board and served for two board mandates in an Engineering association, where I was responsible for public relations, finances and events coordination. That experience has given me a solid grounding in managing budgets, keeping the books in order, and making sure the numbers support what the board actually wants to do.
I look forward to bringing that continuity to this year's board and supporting the team wherever I can.

Fundraiser
Nuno Vila Welschen
Email: nuno.vilawelschen@kulmun.be
I'm Nuno, currently studying Engineering Science at KU Leuven. Born in Amsterdam, raised in Barcelona and Brussels, I grew up with an international background and speaking five languages.
Upon hearing of KULMUN, I immediately knew this was what I needed to enhance my student life. A place where you can debate, learn about international politics, and make memories with amazing people at the same time. After two years as a member and enjoying my time here even more than I expected, I realized I wanted to contribute more to the association.
Going for Corporate Relations seemed like a natural fit, given my entrepreneurial background, experience in consulting, and interest in business strategy. Securing the financial health of KULMUN and developing long-term plans are things I'm honored to be doing.
Conference Manager
Luca Pellicciotta
Email: luca.pellicciotta@kulmun.be
&
Hello, I am Luca, and I originally come from Geel (one of Belgium's most underrated cities). I study engineering here at KU Leuven, focusing on biomedical technology. My interest in this field was really sparked after visiting a MedTech convention a year ago. Outside of my studies, I train regularly, splitting my time between strength training and endurance sports.
This year, I'll be serving as conference manager for the 17th KULMUN Conference alongside Rodrigo. Watching last year's managers organize the conference, and then experiencing it myself as a delegate, made me determined to follow in their footsteps. It's a project with a variety of interesting tasks and a lot of planning, which I like a lot.
I can't wait to meet you all at the conference!
P.S. If you're hungry at the conference, come find me. I always carry spare bread and cheese on me.

Co-Conference Manager
Rodrigo De Geyseleer
Email: rodrigo.degeyseleer@kulmun.be
&
Hi everyone, I’m Rodrigo, a History student currently pursuing my second Master’s in International Politics, with a strong passion for international affairs, organisation, and bringing people together. Outside of university, I spend my time sailing, swimming, and running. I love to make music myself and be a real nerd about movies and artists that I love.
I’ve always enjoyed pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and taking on challenges that seem just a little too ambitious at first. That is exactly what drew me to becoming Conference Manager of KULMUN. Organising a five-day conference for around 200 delegates is no small task, and the opportunity to build something of this scale from the ground up, together with my fellow Conference Manager Luca, was one I simply couldn’t pass up.
Most of all, I love working with people, delegating, coordinating, and turning a big idea into something tangible.
I’m passionate about making the 2027 Conference a week that everyone involved will remember.
